How attitudes towards Ukrainian refugees in Lithuania have changed: survey data.

According to a survey by the International Organization for Migration in Lithuania, Ukrainians continue to be the most favored group of migrants, although overall attitudes towards them have worsened. According to the Spinter Tyrimai company, Ukrainians received the highest score for friendliness - almost 7 points out of 10. In second place are migrants from Belarus, and in third are labor migrants from Central Asia. However, migrants from the Middle East and those who crossed the border through Belarus in 2021 received less favorable ratings.
According to the head of IOM in Lithuania, the successful integration of Ukrainians is explained by their active participation in Lithuanian society. He also noted that Ukrainian refugees and migrants actively study the language, work, and start their own businesses. Respondents noted that Lithuanian language courses are the most important element of integration for Ukrainians, and emphasized the importance of assistance with documentation, educational activities for children, and professional training.
According to the survey, half of the respondents support the idea that integrated Ukrainians should remain in Lithuania after the war. It should be noted that currently there are over 74 thousand Ukrainians living in Lithuania who moved there after the Russian invasion.
It was previously reported that IOM Lithuania will provide a one-Time cash assistance of 176 euros to newly arrived refugees from Ukraine.
