Analyst explained why Ukraine is not striking open tank storage bases in Russia.

Ukraine does not plan to attack military equipment storage bases in Russia due to their inaccessibility. Many of these bases are located far beyond the Ural Mountains and in the Far East, out of Ukraine's reach. Even if the USA provides Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, which can fly great distances, most bases would still remain out of reach.

There are only a few bases located within 2000 kilometers of Ukraine, but even reaching them involves significant obstacles. Additionally, the use of long-range drones for attacks is limited due to their power and high fuel consumption, making it difficult to inflict substantial damage on tanks.

Operational storage bases located closer to Ukraine's border also have their own security measures, complicating efforts to target them.

Destroying tank bases would require a large number of drones and complex operations, rendering it impossible. The tanks at these bases already need repairs and inspections before being sent to the front, so they are not particularly valuable targets.

Therefore, Ukraine would be better off using its drones to strike other, more vulnerable targets, such as oil refineries.
