Ukrainian Nazar Chepurnyi became the winner of the World Cup 2025 in artistic gymnastics on parallel bars, reports 'Glavkom'.
Chepurnyi earned this title due to the stable results he showed throughout the season. He won a gold medal in Doha, a silver in Cottbus, fifth place in Baku, and eighth place in Cairo.

This season, Chepurnyi participated in 4 out of 6 stages of the World Cup and earned 8 medals: 2 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze.
In the near future, the athlete has two main competitions ahead - the European Championship in May and the World Championship in October.
In other news, Russian bodybuilders who are part of the national team failed to obtain the necessary Spanish visas to participate in the European Championship.
The Spanish embassy rejected most of the applications, despite the official invitation from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and letters of support from the city mayor and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The European Championship in bodybuilding and fitness was scheduled to take place from April 30 to May 5.
Also, Ukrainian fencers became world champions in foil fencing among juniors. They defeated the Chinese team with a score of 45-34. Throughout the match, the advantage fluctuated, but the decisive moment was the last third of the match, where the Ukrainian athletes were able to crush their opponents.
Thanks to these victories, Ukraine found itself among the top five countries in the medal standings. It only lagged behind the USA, Italy, Egypt, and Canada.
