The French Authorities Did Not Allow Durov to Travel to the USA.

The French authorities denied Pavel Durov permission to travel to the USA
The French authorities rejected the request of Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov for permission to travel to the United States. The Paris prosecutor's office decided on May 12 that such a trip was unnecessary or unjustified, given the restrictions on Durov's departure from France.
«Such a trip abroad is not necessary or justified»
Previously, the entrepreneur had received permission to leave, for example, in March-April he was allowed to go to Dubai. However, the conflict between Durov and the French authorities escalated due to his request to the French intelligence to block the channels of Romanian conservatives on Telegram.
«The Telegram team refused to comply with this request»
The French intelligence demanded information about the IP addresses of citizens of Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine, explaining this by the fight against terrorism and child pornography. The conflict began in 2024 when Durov was detained at the Paris airport, and later legal proceedings began.
Additional Context
The dispute between Pavel Durov and the French authorities has led to restrictions on the entrepreneur's ability to leave the country, as well as serious legal consequences.
