Nations League 2024/25: all participants of the quarter-finals have been determined.


Quarter-final teams of the Nations League determined
The group stage of the Nations League for the 2024/25 season runs from September to November 2024. So far, all teams that have become quarter-finalists of the tournament are known. This has been reported by the UEFA website.
A total of 54 European national teams are participating in the tournament. Russia has been excluded from participation due to its full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
According to the new format of the Nations League, the winners and the teams that finished in second place in the elite Division A groups will enter the quarter-finals, where they will play knockout matches at home and away to determine the four national teams that will compete for the trophy at the final stage.
At this moment, the names of all eight quarter-finalists of the tournament are already known: Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Croatia, and Denmark.
The national team of Ukraine competes in the Nations League in Division B, where its opponents are the teams of the Czech Republic, Albania, and Georgia.
Before the last round, the national team of Ukraine is in last place in Group B1 with 5 points. The leader is the Czech Republic with 8 points, with Georgia and Albania in second and third places with 7 points each.
On Tuesday, November 19, the national team of Ukraine will play its sixth and decisive match in Group B1 of the Nations League 2024/2025 – our team will face Albania. The match will be broadcast live by the media service Megogo, in particular on the Megogo Football 1 channel, which is part of the Maximum, Sports, and Optimal subscription packages. The Megogo Sports channel will also show the game for free in the digital T2 broadcast and in cable networks.
It is noteworthy that Russian propagandists inform that the Russian national football team will not be allowed to participate in the draw of the qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup.
