In recent days, Ukrainian troops have managed to regain control of several positions in the area of Bilohorivka and east of it, military analyst Dmitry Snjehirow reported.
'In recent days, the Ukrainian troops have regained several previously lost positions in the Bilohorivka area and east of it,' said the analyst.
In addition, the Ukrainian troops have made progress in the Siverskyi Forest.
'Despite the breakthrough by Russian occupiers in the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian troops not only defend themselves successfully but also achieve tactical successes,' emphasized Snjehirow.
The situation in the Kupiansk direction remains difficult, and the enemy is suffering high losses despite their numerical superiority.
'Losses of Russian occupiers in the area of Kruglyakivka - about 120 individuals - have been identified. These data were confirmed by drones. Although Russia is able to replenish its human resources, the actual number of losses is critical,' the analyst explained.
The invaders are trying to break through directly towards Slaviansk and Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast.
'The main task of the occupiers is to encircle the Ukrainian troops in the Slaviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration,' said Snjehirow.
He also mentioned an increase in the combat actions of the occupiers in the Chasiv Yar region, where the Ukrainian troops managed to halt the enemy's further advance.
'Chasiv Yar is a crucial point in the Ukrainian defense. We control the situation in the Chasovyarske direction by 80%, allowing us to successfully defend and hold significant areas of the occupied territories in Donetsk Oblast,' emphasized the expert.
