Night attack on Zhytomyr region: three children killed
During a massive combined nighttime attack on the Zhytomyr region, three children were killed and 12 people were injured. This was reported by 'Hlavcom' citing the State Emergency Service (SES).
The children were 8, 12, and 17 years old, and one body was extracted by rescuers.
In total, 10 people were injured in the attack, eight were rescued by SES, and all were hospitalized.
Destruction and Damage to Property
Private houses were destroyed and damaged. In the Berdychiv district, two people were injured (including one child), a five-story building was damaged, as well as private houses and agricultural structures. Emergency services were working at the scene.
It is worth noting that on the night of May 25, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. Kyiv was hit by 'Shahed' drones and missiles. The capital suffered damage and casualties. In Kharkiv, there were three strikes on the city. A residential building in Mykolaiv was also hit. Russia carried out a missile strike on Ternopil, causing damage. Additionally, on the night of May 25, Konotop experienced the most massive and combined strike since World War II. Civil infrastructure in Khmelnytsky region was destroyed, with fatalities and injuries reported.
During the attack on the Zhytomyr region, innocent children lost their lives, while destroyed homes and injured individuals became victims of a brutal war. The consequences of these attacks significantly impacted the civilian population and the country's infrastructure, revealing shortcomings in the security of citizens.
