National Barrier-Free Strategy: How to Apply for Free Prosthetics Online.

Provision of Free Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Aids to Ukrainians
The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine is implementing several programs aimed at creating an obstacle-free environment in the country by 2030. One of these programs is the state program for the provision of quality prosthetics and other rehabilitation aids for free.
According to the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities, during the first two months of 2025, over 18,600 Ukrainians received more than 58,500 rehabilitation aids under this program. Of these, over 3,700 individuals received the necessary prosthetics and orthoses, the total number of which was over 8,000.
Applications for rehabilitation aids can be submitted online or in person at the nearest administrative service center, social protection agency, or territorial department of the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities.
The Social Portal of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has introduced a service that allows tracking the status of applications and submitting requests online. To do this, it is necessary to authenticate using EDS, BankID, or Diia.Sign.
Additionally, in order to assist in understanding each stage of the prosthetic provision process, the Ministry of Social Policy has launched the online platform protez.msp.gov.ua. This platform contains all the necessary information about the state prosthetics program and the provision of other rehabilitation aids. Moreover, it has been created with accessibility requirements in mind.
