Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram stated that the Norwegian government plans to assist the Ukrainian Naval Forces in enhancing their capabilities.
This statement was made during a joint briefing between the Norwegian Defense Minister and the Ukrainian Defense Minister, which took place in Odesa.
The Minister noted that Norway and Ukraine are maritime nations, which is why Norway agreed to be part of the maritime coalition together with the United Kingdom.
"I am very impressed by the progress made by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who repelled the Russian fleet attack. Today we discussed how to further strengthen this progress. This concerns the training of military personnel, the provision of small boats, and investments," said the Norwegian Defense Minister.
