Occupiers are modernizing and improving their weaponry – ISW report.

Russian forces have begun using Shahed-136 drones with thermobaric warheads and "masked" TOS-1A "Solntsepek" systems. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) published a report with this data.
The Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Expertise analyzed fragments of Shahed-136 drones used by Russian troops from October 26 to 29.
The study found that Russian troops modified these drones to install thermobaric warheads.
It also became known that "Roselectronika," a subsidiary of the Russian defense conglomerate "Rostec," created a coating for TOS-1A "Solntsepek" thermobaric systems that absorbs radio waves, making the installations "invisible" to modern guidance systems and thermal imagers.
The use of Shahed-136 for night attacks has also increased. Over the past week, drone strikes have caused significant destruction of infrastructure, residential buildings, and apartments, as well as numerous fires.
Earlier, analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) pointed out the increase in the pace of Russian advances in Ukraine, but experts believe that these rates remain slow and correspond to a positional war.
Recall that Russia has concentrated about 200,000 troops in southern Ukraine. However, they have not created offensive groupings.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting a stabilization operation near the village of Levadne, where the enemy is located. Southern Defense Forces spokesperson Vladyslav Voloshyn noted that the village of Levadne is an important hub in the south of the Donetsk region, bordering the Dnipropetrovsk region.
