The Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) has excluded the possibility of transferring long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine from its election program.
This was reported by the dpa news agency, which received a draft of the Social Democrats' election program, DW reports.
According to the news agency, the party fully supports the position of the current Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz on this issue.
At the same Time, Scholz's party members support the future deployment of American long-range missiles on German territory, the policy of increasing defense spending to at least two percent of gross domestic product (GDP). They will also advocate the introduction of a tax for the 'super-rich' - this category includes those whose assets are estimated at 100 million euros or more - while simultaneously easing the tax burden on 95 percent of citizens and businesses, and they also plan to impose a speed limit on highways of a maximum of 130 kilometers per hour and raise the minimum wage to 15 euros per hour.
In addition, the program includes the issue of a so-called 'investment turbo mode', which aims to improve the situation in the German economy.
