First drone attack on the territory of Chechnya
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported the first drone attack in the region. The roof of the special forces university named after Putin caught fire, as Kadyrov reported on his Telegram channel.
“Today at 6:30 am in Gudermes (a city in the Chechen Republic - 'Glavkom'), the roof of an empty building on the territory of the Russian special forces university caught fire due to an aerial drone attack. There are no victims or casualties. The fire has been extinguished,” Kadyrov wrote.
Local authorities and public pages are publishing footage of the burning building. It is reported that the university's activities are allegedly not suspended, and all services are operating normally.
This is likely the first recorded drone attack on the territory of Chechnya.

It is noted that the attack occurred on the night of June 8. The drone raid on North Ossetia is an operation of the GUR Ministry of Defense. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.
By the way, the SBU announced suspicion against Baybetar Vaikhanov, head of the Chechen special forces university named after Putin, where more than 40,000 Russian military personnel and mercenaries received military training since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
