The suspect in state treason Shufrych announced the death of a close person.

On Thursday, January 2, a tragedy occurred in the family of people's deputy Nestor Shufrych, who is in pre-trial detention. The deputy's father passed away. Shufrych announced this in his Facebook post.

Shufrych noted that he did not have the opportunity to meet with his father before his death.

«Today our family faced terrible grief. Dad has died. Shufrych Ivan Yuliyovych», - he wrote.

The deputy reported that on January 1 at 14:00 a video conference with his father was scheduled, but, according to him, it did not take place.

«I will not forgive anyone», - it is stated in the message.

In his post, Shufrych also apologizes for not spending enough Time with his father.

«I’m sorry that on this day, in these years I was not around. Sorry for your suffering because of me», - he wrote.

It should be noted that Shufrych and his assistant are being tried for financing the Rosgvardiya in occupied Crimea. Earlier, former MP from the banned party «Opposition Platform - For Life» Nestor Shufrych was suspected of state treason. According to the investigation, he closely cooperated and performed tasks for former NSDC Secretary Volodymyr Sivkovych, an FSB agent, whose task was to coordinate Russian agents in Ukraine.

By the way, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation from the banned party OPZZH Nestor Shufrych, who is accused of state treason and who recently underwent surgery to remove two hernias, filed a complaint with the DBR against the investigators because, as he stated, he had not been allowed medical procedures in the pre-trial detention center for 8 months.
