Rebels in Syria have taken control of the country's second-largest city.

The military group 'Hayat Tahrir al-Sham' has successfully captured Aleppo - the second-largest city in Syria. This is reported by Reuters and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Recently, the city and villages in the region have been constantly shelled. The most airstrikes were carried out in the Al-Furkan area, located near New Aleppo.
The Syrian army was ordered to immediately evacuate residents from dangerous areas of the city where the rebel group 'Hayat Tahrir al-Sham' is advancing, Reuters reports.
According to reports, as a result of bombings and attacks, 20 fighters from the group 'Hayat Tahrir al-Sham', linked to Al-Qaeda, have died.
The Syrian authorities have closed the airport in Aleppo and all roads leading to it. Thus, there is no way to either fly out or enter this city.
It should be noted that the civil war in Syria began in 2011. It started with a local-level confrontation but soon turned into an uprising against Assad's regime. Subsequently, regional and international forces, terrorist groups, and political organizations intervened in the conflict. The parties to the conflict include regular military formations, the 'moderate' Syrian opposition, Kurdish regionalists, and others.
Iran and Russia support government forces, while Western countries, Turkey, and Gulf states provide aid to the opposition. Meanwhile, the Lebanese group 'Hezbollah' actively supported Assad's regime in the conflict, but now its forces have focused in Lebanon to confront Israel.
