Russia sent a 'Shahed' towards the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

Russian drone attacked Khmelnytskyi NPP
In the night of September 20, Russia attacked the Khmelnytskyi region with drones that approached the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant. The drones were unable to hit the target. This was reported by the head of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, Serhii Tyurin.
«Today, during the night attack, the flight of a Russian strike UAV of the 'Shahed' type was recorded in close proximity to the KhNPP», - Tyurin said.
He emphasized that Russia continues nuclear blackmail by sending missiles and drones towards Ukrainian NPPs. The incident with the drone near the KhNPP is another confirmation of this.
«Thank you to the air defense forces for their effective work!» - Tyurin added.
This is not the first Time Russian drones have approached the Khmelnytskyi NPP. The incident also occurred on the night of September 12.
In the night of September 20, an air raid alert was raised almost throughout Ukraine, as Russia massively attacked with strike drones. Air defense actively worked to repel enemy attacks. The strikes were heard in the suburbs of Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv region, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
According to the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional council, Svitlana Onyschuk, no one was injured as a result of the attack. There are also no casualties or destruction in the Rivne region.
However, in the Lviv and Cherkasy regions, debris from downed Russian drones caused fires.
In the Kyiv region, enemy targets were also shot down. There are no losses or damage to residential and critical infrastructure, but fires occurred in two districts of the region.
