Russia is implementing artificial intelligence in drones to create 'swarms of drones'
According to The Guardian, the Russians plan to implement artificial intelligence in the Shahed drones with the aim of creating 'swarms of drones'. This type of technology will allow drones to communicate and coordinate attacks in a way that avoids air defense.
However, the effectiveness of this technology is still unknown.
According to The Guardian, the Russians are already producing 'hundreds per week' of Shahed drones.
Currently, Ukrainian forces are using mobile fire groups to combat the Russians, but they are also working on developing cheap first-person drones costing up to $1000.
The development process is complicated by the airflow created by the flight of Shahed, which negatively affects the piloting of smaller FPV drones.
