The price of cucumbers is rising in Ukraine
According to EastFruit analysts, the cost of cucumbers continues to rise in Ukraine. This trend is caused by the increase in prices for fresh vegetables despite the season. Many people have to refuse to consume cucumbers due to their high price, making the preparation of vegetable salads too expensive.
Ukrainian cucumber producers from greenhouse facilities have been consistently raising prices for their product over the past two weeks. This week, demand for cucumbers has noticeably increased among retail chains and large wholesale companies. In addition, cucumber imports have decreased, which has also affected the price increase.
