The SAP has opened proceedings against Stefanishina - what she is accused of.


The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has initiated criminal proceedings against former Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishina on suspicion of abuse of office. This information was made public by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko on Telegram on July 16.
Honcharenko explained that NABU opened the proceedings on June 11, 2025. According to these criminal articles, imprisonment for a term of three to six years is envisaged, as well as deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years and a fine ranging from five hundred to one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes.
It is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada has dismissed Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal along with the government. Additionally, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky proposed Economy Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko to head the government.
