Sibiga: The OSCE must make Russia answer for war crimes.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that Ukraine hopes to expand the documentation of Russia's crimes within the OSCE. He also noted that this concerns the deportation of children, the capture of civilian hostages, and the fate of Ukrainian citizens held captive by Russia.

'Not only the shadow fleet but also Russia's true intentions need to be brought to light. The OSCE must remain a platform to hold Russia accountable. We hope for an expansion of the documentation of Russia's crimes, maintaining attention to the deportation of children, the capture of civilian hostages, and the fate of our three staff members-citizens of Ukraine in Russian captivity - Vadym Golda, Maksym Petrov and Dmytro Shabanov,' he said at a joint briefing with the current chair of the OSCE, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, as reported by Ukrinform.

Sibiga called on the OSCE to assess the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war, which is a horrific crime by the Russian Federation during the conflict. He also stated that Ukraine would utilize any international platform to draw attention to the torture, executions, and mistreatment of prisoners of war.

The Minister also expressed hope that Finland would make the Peace Formula the basis for the OSCE's work on the Ukrainian agenda and reported that he discussed all issues on the bilateral agenda with his Finnish counterpart, as well as agreed on additional support for Ukraine.
