Scandal over the textbook 'History of Ukraine. Grade 11'. The publishing house responded to the claims of politicians and journalists.

Representatives of the 'Ranok' publishing house responded to the criticism regarding the textbook 'History of Ukraine. Grade 11', which includes photographs of President Zelensky and his team. According to the publishing house, all textbooks have been thoroughly checked and tested in lessons. The organizers also emphasized that the competitive selection of the textbook allows each teacher to choose the one they consider best.
The publishing house also explained that the photographs of President Zelensky are included in the textbook to discuss the invasion of Ukraine. They understand the complexity of the topic of war, but believe that these events should not be ignored and must be discussed in lessons. It was noted that maps, additional facts, and photographs will be added to the textbooks in the future.
Politicians and journalists associated with Petro Poroshenko voiced their dissatisfaction regarding the mention of President Zelensky in the textbook.
