How many times has the Russian Federation used banned weapons on the battlefield in December: data from the General Staff.


The Ukrainian Armed Forces report that Russia continues to use munitions with hazardous chemical substances against them. This information was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
«The enemy uses munitions with hazardous chemical substances, such as K-51 and RG-VO, which are prohibited for use in military actions», - the representatives of the Armed Forces stated.
Representatives of the Armed Forces reported that Russia uses munitions with hazardous chemical substances that do not comply with the established type of compounds.
According to data obtained throughout December 2024, 434 cases of using such munitions were recorded, and since February 2023 - 5389.
The use of hazardous chemical substances by Russia has been systematic since February 2023.
«Russia violates the rules of warfare and ignores the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons», - emphasized a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
It is also worth noting that Russia often attacks Ukrainian military personnel with the chemical substance Sarin, which is lethal and can cause harm upon direct contact with skin or inhalation.
This conflict has been ongoing for 1061 days.
