What the Russian Federation is doing with the homes of residents in occupied territories: ISW data.

Russia is registering real estate in the occupied territory of Ukraine
Russia is inventorying real estate in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine with the aim of confiscating property from Ukrainian residents, possibly to assist Russian citizens in settling in these areas. This is evidenced by a report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), reported by 'Glavkom'.
Analysts refer to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Marat Khusnullin, who noted that Russia has included 251,750 real estate objects from occupied Ukraine in the Unified State Register of Real Estate of Russia during the inventory process. Khusnullin believes that this will help residents of the occupied territories quickly protect their rights and assess their real estate.
«ISW has previously observed how the nationalization of property in occupied Ukraine allows the Russian government to auction this property to Russian citizens, facilitating the illegal resettlement of Russian citizens to the occupied areas of Ukraine from Russia», - the message states.
The Crimean service 'Crimea Realities' published an article about how the Russian occupation administration seized and sold an apartment to two women who left occupied Crimea for Kyiv and renounced Russian passports.
«According to ISW estimates, the policy of nationalizing property by Russia increasingly displaces residents of occupied Ukraine and deprives them of their homes», - the analysts added.
It is worth noting that the 1171st day of the war continues.
The inventory of real estate in the occupied territories of Ukraine by Russia may have serious consequences for Ukrainian citizens, depriving them of property and supporting the illegal resettlement of Russian citizens to these areas. Analysts warn about the danger of this situation and clash with the official statements of the Russian Federation.
