Warm but with snow and strong wind: Meteorologists told about the weather at the beginning of the week.

The press service of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported that at the beginning of the week, warm weather with light wet snow will arrive in Ukraine. It is expected that on the night of Monday and during the day, the whole region will experience light wet snow and rain. Also, in most regions, except for the south, ice is possible. The wind will be southern at a speed of 7-12 m/s, and in certain regions, gusts may reach 15-20 m/s.

The air temperature at night will be from -3 to -8 degrees, and during the day it will fluctuate from -1 degree to +4 degrees. In certain regions, particularly in Prykarpattia, Crimea, and the southern regions, the temperature may reach +4 to +9 degrees.

In Kyiv, no precipitation is expected at night, while light wet snow and rain may occur during the day. The wind will be southern at a speed of 7-12 m/s. The temperature at night will be -4 to -6 degrees, while during the day it will be 0 to +2 degrees.

On Tuesday, no precipitation is expected in Ukraine, except for the eastern and northeastern regions, where light snow is possible. Ice is anticipated on the roads of the country, except for the south. The wind will be southern and southwestern at a speed of 7-12 m/s.

The air temperature at night will range from -4 to -1 degrees, while during the day, +4 to +9 degrees is expected, and in the mountains of the Carpathians, it may reach +5 degrees.

In Kyiv on January 7, no precipitation is expected, but there may be ice on the roads. The wind will be southern and southwestern at a speed of 7-12 m/s. The temperature at night will be 0 to +2 degrees, and during the day it will be +6 to +8 degrees.
