Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha called on European countries to fight against Russia's "shadow fleet" that transports Russian oil.
"Russia poses an existential threat to Europe, yet continues to earn billions from exporting energy resources to Europe and through European waters. Then it uses (these funds - ed.) to finance aggression against Ukraine and Euro-Atlantic security. Europe can and must deprive Russia of its bloody energy revenues," the Foreign Minister said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiha, emphasized that according to the Kyiv School of Economics, Russia's "shadow fleet" of old and poorly insured oil tankers poses an inevitable threat of an ecological disaster in Europe.
Sybiha urged Europe to take concrete steps to combat this "shadow fleet", reduce Russia's military budget, and save lives and the environment.
