Ukrainians will receive money by Independence Day: who and how much will receive.


One-Time payments by Independence Day
Certain groups of citizens will receive financial assistance by Independence Day. According to government representative Taras Melnychuk, payments will be made by August 24, 2025. The amounts of payments will be determined depending on the category of recipients and the level of disability.
Among the recipients, the highest amount will be received by individuals with war-related disabilities of the first group and former child prisoners of concentration camps. For this category, the payment will be 3100 hryvnias. The amounts of other payments are as follows: 2900 hryvnias for second group disabled individuals, 2700 hryvnias for the third group, and also 3100 hryvnias for individuals with special merits to the country.
Combat participants, injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity, and former minors imprisoned will receive 1000 hryvnias each.
For the family members of deceased war veterans, a payment of 650 hryvnias is provided. A similar amount is also allocated for the family members of other categories of deceased persons.
