Ukraine strengthens security measures in Black Sea ports.

Port and ship security - a priority for the Government
The Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine's Recovery - Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba announced that 86 ships are expected to approach the ports of Odesa. For this reason, the safety of ports, personnel, and ships is a crucial task.
"All necessary measures to strengthen defense are being implemented in each port. An additional level of security and defense capability is being provided. It is also necessary to ensure additional protection for port enterprise personnel, particularly by creating mobile shelters," the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
According to Kuleba, additional funds will be allocated for the restoration of Odesa port infrastructure. Modernization of key facilities and strengthening of overall port territory security is planned.
"Currently, 86 ships are expected to approach the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdenny, which are expected to export almost 2 million tons of cargo. Despite regular shelling of Ukrainian infrastructure by Russia, including civilian ships and grain storage facilities, Ukraine continues to guarantee global food security," the minister emphasized.
