On the night of February 16, a terrible fire engulfed a hotel and restaurant complex in Volyn. Firefighters fought the flames until five in the morning. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
It is reported that on February 15 at 11:13 p.m., a report was received about a large-scale fire at the hotel and restaurant complex in the village of Zmiyinets, Lutsk district. Emergency response units of the service 101 were urgently dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters from three populated areas participated in extinguishing the fire.
Firefighters from the fire-rescue units of Lutsk, as well as from Kivertsiv and Rozhyshche, participated in the extinguishing effort, as stated in the report.
To operate under smoky conditions, the gas and smoke protection service was organized. A total of 50 rescuers and 13 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire and protecting nearby buildings.
The fire was extinguished at 5:28 a.m., preventing the spread of flames to other structures.
The cause of the fire is being established.
Recall that a massive fire at a resort in Bolu occurred on the night of January 21. According to information, the flare-up began in a wooden hotel located at an altitude of 2,200 meters. There were nearly 240 guests in the building.
Additionally, a fire broke out in the elite fitness club Tsarsky in the capital, located in Pechersk.
