The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the losses of Russian invaders as of the morning of Monday, January 20, 2025.
Losses of Russia in the war as of January 20, 2025
As of January 20, the Russian Federation has lost in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel – about 820430 (+1690) people,
- tanks – 9821 (+10) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 20454 (+42) units,
- artillery systems – 22074 (+19) units,
- MLRS – 1262 (+0) units,
- air defense systems – 1049 (+3) units,
- aircraft – 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 331 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs – 22768 (+153),
- cruise missiles – 3051 (+0),
- ships / boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tankers – 34488 (+87) units,
- special equipment – 3706 (+6).
Activity of the invaders' fleet as of January 20
- No enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, six enemy ships, of which two are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 22 missiles.
In the interest of the Russian Federation, the following transit through the Kerch Strait has taken place within a day:
- to the Black Sea – one ship that continued its movement towards the Bosporus;
- to the Sea of Azov – eight ships, of which three were moving from the Bosporus Strait.
Currently, the 1062nd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine is ongoing.
