Enemy losses as of October 28, 2024 – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Monday, October 28, 2024.
Russia's losses in the war as of October 28, 2024
By October 28, the Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine lost:
- personnel ‒ about 690,720 (+1,680) individuals,
- tanks ‒ 9,120 (+7) units,
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 18,395 (+40) units,
- artillery systems ‒ 19,872 (+51) units,
- MLRS ‒ 1,240 (+0) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 984 (+0) units,
- aircraft ‒ 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters ‒ 329 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs ‒ 17,867 (+68),
- cruise missiles ‒ 2,625 (+0),
- ships/boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines ‒ 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tankers ‒ 27,660 (+100) units,
- special equipment ‒ 3,556 (+14).
Occupiers' fleet activity as of October 28
- no enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- no enemy ships in the Azov Sea;
- in the Mediterranean Sea, two enemy ships capable of carrying Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.
During the day, in Russia's interests, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea ‒ four vessels, three of which continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov ‒ 12 vessels, four of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
Currently, the 978th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine is ongoing.
Recall, the Armed Forces of Ukraine achieved success during the continuation of the operation in the Kursk region. At the same Time, advancement of Russian troops was recorded in the Donetsk region, particularly in the area of Selydove and northwest of Vuhledar.
By the way, analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War believe that economic problems and a lack of human resources may force Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to make crucial decisions about changing the way of conducting the war to maintain the stability of the Kremlin regime.
