According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of December 5, 2024, Russian occupiers have suffered significant losses.
Significant losses of the Russian Federation as of December 5, 2024
As of December 5, Russia has lost:
- more than 748,950 (+1580) personnel,
- 9506 (+13) tanks,
- 19472 (+22) armored combat vehicles,
- 21023 (+21) artillery systems,
- 1253 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems,
- 1020 (+1) air defense systems,
- 369 (+0) aircraft,
- 329 (+0) helicopters,
- 19977 (+31) operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles,
- 2855 (+0) cruise missiles,
- 28 (+0) ships/boats,
- 1 (+0) submarine,
- 30843 (+97) units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers,
- 3630 (+2) units of special equipment.
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of December 5:
- In the Black Sea, two enemy ships have been registered, which may carry Caliber cruise missiles, the total number of missiles - up to 12;
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, six enemy ships have been registered, four of which may carry Caliber cruise missiles, the total number of missiles - up to 41.
Over the past day, the Kerch Strait passage was:
- To the Black Sea - 0 vessels;
- To the Sea of Azov - seven vessels, of which four were coming from the Bosporus Strait.
The duration of the war is 1016 days. Over the last day, there have been 156 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders successfully repel enemy attacks and inflict significant losses. The most intense situations were in the directions of Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv.
