Already 200 hryvnias: prices for cabbage, cucumbers, and tomatoes soared in Ukraine.


Price Increase for Vegetables in the Country
According to data from the Minfin portal, prices for some types of vegetables have significantly increased at the end of March. In particular, the price for young cabbage rose from 86.64 UAH/kg to 134.50 UAH/kg. In 'MegaMarket', this vegetable costs 171.60 UAH/kg, while in 'Auchan' it is 97.40 UAH/kg. Cucumber prices also rose - smooth cucumbers increased from 144.75 UAH/kg to 147.80 UAH/kg, while short-fruited ones went up from 119.40 UAH/kg to 140.90 UAH/kg. In 'Estafet', the price for cucumbers is 212.97 UAH/kg. Tomatoes have also become more expensive - red ones increased from 107.64 UAH/kg to 126.40 UAH/kg, pink ones from 160.11 UAH/kg to 194.70 UAH/kg, and 'Slivka' from 122.99 UAH/kg to 171.50 UAH/kg.
We remind you that not only vegetables but also prices for cigarettes in the country have risen sharply.
