Russian drones carried out 19 attacks on Kyiv
In October, Russian troops carried out 19 air attacks on the capital, reported the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko.
"Nineteen air attacks on Kyiv in October! Tonight, Russian drones were once again flying to the capital. The air raid alarm in Kyiv lasted over 2 hours. Russian drones did not change their constant tactics - they were approaching the capital from different directions, at various altitudes," he noted.
Popko reported that the enemy drones were timely detected and neutralized by the forces and means of air defense.
"Preliminarily, as a result of the attack by the drones of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, debris was recorded falling in the Solomianskyi district in Kyiv. Here, a fire broke out in several apartments in a residential high-rise building. Eighteen people were evacuated from the building. Nine people were injured, including one child," the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration informed.
At another address in this district, a fire occurred in an administrative building, and later, GRP depressurization occurred (already eliminated), Popko noted. The fire was extinguished. No casualties.
